Dr. Holmberg and his staff were gentle and thorough throughout my dog’s eye exam. They explained each procedure every step of the way. I hope no one needs a veterinary ophthalmologist, but if you do, the Animal Eye Center of NJ is the place to go. I highly recommend them.

Dr Holmberg and Staff have been fabulous in treating my dog Bella. They are so kind and patient and are always willing to answer any questions. Dr Holmberg is very encouraging in how I handle the at home treatment too. The staff is super friendly and accommodating also. I am so happy to have found this practice.

My French Bulldog, Padme, received excellent care at the Animal Eye Center of New Jersey. There aren't many veterinary ophthalmologists around, but when I found Dr. Holmberg and his staff, I knew I found the best. You need to keep in mind that many times when people need a veterinary ophthalmologist, it is usually in an emergency situation. They do their best to accommodate everyone, but there is a high demand for this type of expertise.

Very professional, efficient and caring service. My dog visited 3 times: for initial consultation, for eye surgery, and for post-surgery follow-up. At all 3 appointments, the staff and doctor did an excellent job of caring for my dog and explaining the required treatment to me.

Doctor Holmberg was very caring, gave us options and spent a lot of time speaking to our family also answered all our questions and didn't rush us off the phone.

This was our second visit. The doctors office moved mountains to see Sandy the first time for emergency eye care. They made my second visit easy to schedule as well (with an upcoming visit too). The staff is courteous and kind and treated us like we matter. Sandy is doing much better under the doctors care as his first plan of action seems to have done the trick and with continuing care I expect Sandy will be the best he can be under his circumstances soon. I could not have asked for better care as this has been a tough time for my fur baby and the rest of our family. Everything was wonderful. At first, I was a little hesitant about not being able to go into the facility with Spunky due to COVID, but the staff and doctor were absolutely wonderful!

Dr. Holmberg and team were absolutely wonderful to myself and Onyx! They went above and beyond to schedule Onyx in for an immediate appointment despite their busy schedules. Dr. Holmberg is extremely knowledgeable in his field, and I have complete confidence in him. He was extremely patient with all my questions and gave me the reassurance I needed.
